Protection against Bad News

We are reluctant to listen to the news at times on television because of the overwhelming political, social and environmental issues both on national and global levels.

War, terrorism, hunger and refugees are some of the problems faced. This essence gives us the emotional and mental strength to deal with either the news at large, or difficult news which comes to us on a personal level. This might be the loss of a job, a friendship, or a bereavement.

There is a great strength of endurance and perseverance with this essence, a cushioning of shock, the ability to move forward with a spring in our step despite adversity. Why have a miserable life just because some people out there are choosing misery!
